Urgent curatorship auction brings family home in leafy suburb to market

21 High Trees Street, Eversdale, lives up to its name, as the property is located in a leafy suburb with lush gardens, says CJ du Toit of the Michael James Organisation.

The property will go under the Michael James Organisation’s hammer on site at 11.15am on Thursday, 14 April, as instructed by the curators of the estate of K Roy, he says.

The home comprises three bedrooms, with main en suite; a family bathroom; a kitchen; a living area; a private braai area; a fully enclosed back garden and a single garage with automated door.

The property – which is also known as Erf No. 423, Eversdale - measures “a very manageable” 967m² in total.

“Eversdale properties are always extremely saleable,” says Du Toit. “The suburb is favoured for its easy access to the N1 highway and the City Bowl, but also has all its own amenities including hospitals, shopping centres, and highly acclaimed government and private schools.

He adds that the property on offer requires a little work and TLC, “but once completed, the property will be an excellent one, in my view.

The home may be viewed between 2pm and 4pm on Sunday, 10 April.

The terms of the auction are that a 10 percent deposit plus 10 percent auctioneer’s commission will be payable on the fall of the hammer, with the balance of payment required on transfer.
